  • Counsel to members of a solar development REIT in connection with corporate governance disputes.
  • Counsel to the founder of the iconic French-restaurant La Goulue in litigation concerning management and control of La Goulue’s Palm Beach location. 
  • Counsel to Fisher Island homeowners prosecuting a lawsuit against their condominium association relating to replacement of the condominium’s roof.

  • Lead counsel to a claimant in the insolvency proceedings of Lehman Brothers concerning entitlement to $80 million in disputed assets. 
  • Litigation counsel to The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Adelphia Communications Corporation, and its successor, the Adelphia Recovery Trust, pursuing an action against approximately 400 commercial lenders, investment banks and investment funds, seeking more than $5 billion in damages relating to defendants’ role in the looting of funds from Adelphia.
  • Lead trial counsel for an individual lender to a real estate project in Brooklyn, resulting in a $13 million judgment at trial against the borrower.
  • Lead counsel representing a national direct lender and real estate developer with respect to a dispute concerning the management and control of a multi-family residential project in Miami.
  • Lead counsel representing a New York-based real estate investment fund with respect to a dispute concerning its investment in one of Brooklyn’s largest shopping centers.
  • Lead counsel representing a Philadelphia-based developer with respect to a dispute concerning the management and control of two mixed use projects.
  • Litigation counsel to Purolite International, a specialty chemical manufacturer, in an action against competitor Thermax Ltd. (India) for misappropriation of trade secrets relating to formulae and production processes for ion-exchange resins. The case settled on the eve of trial with a $38 million payment by Thermax.
  • Litigation counsel to equity and debt investors in a Sunny Isles condominium project prosecuting racketeering and related claims against the developer and its affiliated brokerage entities.
  • Litigation counsel to a publicly traded British sports and entertainment holding company pursuing fraud and breach of contract claims against an American entertainment and media conglomerate.
  • Litigation counsel to a semi-conductor manufacturer pursuing malpractice, fraud and racketeering claims against a Big Three accounting firm.
  • Litigation counsel to a provider of genomic-based diagnostic cancer tests in an action concerning the ownership of a predictive test for lung cancer.
